Why I’m passionate about recovery.

As a qualified and licensed psychotherapist with extensive experience supporting people through trauma, addiction, and behavioural change, I am regularly seeing people change their lives in such inspiring ways.

Alongside this clinical foundation, I’ve been sober from alcohol for many years and have also navigated my own recovery from nicotine and sugar dependence. This has given me a first-hand understanding of how complex and layered change can be.

Recovery is rarely about willpower alone. It’s often shaped by the nervous system, coping strategies, trauma, and identity. My clinical training allows me to support this process thoughtfully and ethically, while my lived experience brings compassion, realism, and understanding.
